Morocco is a vast country with a wide spectrum of climates : it is a country that requires a strong expertise in the field. Our representative, Mahmoud Tamouch, chose this path at TIMAC AGRO Maroc : he accompanies growers in his region to find the well-adapted technical itinerary. He finds every day new challenges, that he resolves with adaptation and listening skills.

 

What is your background?
I joined my team straight after obtaining my degree in horticulture!

Why did you choose TIMAC AGRO?
I was attracted by TIMAC AGRO’s reputation and driven by my passion for agriculture. This is what led me to choose the role of field representative.

What are your memories of your first days at work?
During my onboarding, I had to work hard to develop my analytical mind and communication skills. As a young graduate, I had no idea that the job required such skills. I had to acquire a substantial technical background and a sharp sales-oriented mind.

What obstacles do you encounter in your work?
The biggest challenges we face are the tough climatic conditions (the succession of drought years we are currently experiencing). By creating a well-adapted technical itinerary, we managed to stand out from our competitors.

What motivates you?
For me, adaptation and listening skills are the keys to success. It enables me to give the best advice to local farmers and help them achieve success.
