TIMAC AGRO representatives not only are experts in the fields : they’re, above all, passionate people, close to the farmers they accompany and attached to the regions they work in. That’s the case for Hannah Hill who joined, at the beginning of her career, TIMAC AGRO UK to share her expertise with growers in her region.

 

Why did you choose TIMAC AGRO?
The HR department contacted me directly. I didn’t know the company, but when I did my research, I realised that this was the job offer I was hoping for. It suited me perfectly! Today I advise cattle and sheep farmers with whom I have an excellent relationship.

What do you remember from your first days?
I started working at the height of the Covid period, we were quickly quarantined. The training went from face-to-face sessions to Microsoft Teams sessions with David Newton, our trainer: we had to adapt, it was a special start.

What obstacles do you face in your daily work?
It’s always difficult to catch farmers when they are not too busy! And above all, to convince them to use other solutions than the ones they’ve been using for years.

What motivate you?
Helping the farmers in my community! And promote TIMAC AGRO’s expertise and my own to other farmers through word of mouth. I’ve learned to coach farmers to help them get the most out of their business.

TIMAC AGRO is all about being “local”. What does that mean to you?
I like to be known in the region in which I work, and I enjoy creating links! I often take part in country sports on weekends. This helps me meet the farmers in a different context and strengthen the relationships I have with them.
